Countdown to GayRomLit 2016: A Guest Post …

I’m going to the GayRomLit reader’s retreat as a Featured Author this year. Yesterday I kicked off the first of my three blog stops on my part of the official GRL blog tour by stopping in at The Novel Approach and introducing myself. Come read it. By the end of the year I hope to add another novel to that list and will for sure… Source: Countdown to GayRomLit 2016: A Guest Post by Featured Author…

Blog Hop – Let’s JitterBug

The always fun Christopher Koehler invited me to take part in a Blog Hop. Get your dancing shoes on! What’re you working on? I’ve been busy finishing up 3 projects. Feathers From the Sky, my short story that is included in Dreamspinner Press’s Advent Calendar Cal Thompson is going a little mad over the Christmas holiday, stuck in a tiny house with fourteen members of his immediate family. There’s no privacy and no boyfriend to help him cope—because Philip is still a secret, though not for long. Cal’s family knows he’s bisexual, but they’ve always assumed Cal would marry a woman and be fruitful and multiply. Just as he’s ready to…

Fusion Tour Stop – Jamie Fessenden

Today I’m talking about the long-lasting effects of childhood emotional abuse on Jamie Fessenden’s blog. Survivors like Kevin Magnus are often invisible, and people around them might not understand why they comply so easily and don’t stand up for themselves. They are labeled as wimps and weaklings. But after a childhood of persistent and systematic emotional abuse, brains are rewired. Please click the link above to read more about emotional abuse in the context of the North Star Trilogy, and then if you’d like further information, The Invisible Scar website offers many resources including a great article to better understand how emotional abuse differs from simply yelling at a child on…

Fusion Tour Stops – All Over the …

I’m on three continents today! I’m surely going to be jet lagged by the time my head hits the pillow, but it will be so worth it. Here’s my itinerary: My first stop is in England where I talk to Jay Northcote about bringing humor into an angsty story. Next, I fly to Australia to dish with N.R. Walker about the joys and struggles of writing and reading a series. Then after a long flight over the Pacific Ocean, I talk with Charley Descoteaux about agoraphilia during her Kink Week celebration. And now enjoy a little E.L.O. while people flashmob all over the world. 🙂
