Allergic to Fluff

I have two WIPs. The first is the follow-up to Farm Fresh and Picked Fresh. Fresh Earth focuses on Charlie & Leo. You met them in the first two Naked Organics books, but this book really dives into Charlie’s psyche. It’s been a hard book to write, mostly because Charlie has a hellish past that comes to bite back. My second WIP is Extra Ordinary. This story started out as the short story, something along the lines of 5,000 words. It was written entirely from August’s (Gus) POV, but I always wanted to know more about Luca. I got the rights back to that story sometime last year, but it sat on my computer untouched…

Cover Reveal – Lonely Hearts – a novella …

Later this month, I’ll be releasing a novella bundle, Lonely Hearts. I love writing novellas, telling a full story in a limited amount of words, but novellas are often bypassed. I recently took a poll and discovered many readers enjoy novellas, but they prefer reading them in a bundle. So I put four previously published stories together, drew greater connections between the stories, and added five chapters where the men from the stories interact in a chat room. In Lonely Hearts, you’ll find Easter eggs planted throughout the stories. Not just to each other but also to my other works.  Lonely Hearts will initially be released on Kindle Unlimited, however, if you’re…

Revised Cover for Bent Arrow

Last summer I was trying to save cash and decided to try my hand at creating a cover for my book Bent Arrow. I used really rudimentary, but helpful, software found online. But when I went to create the paperback cover, I realized I hadn’t left enough room to allow for the bleed, so I hated my paperbacks! In the months since, I’ve learned how to do a lot on Gimp, the photo editing software for the poor. It’s free! And it’s quite similar to PhotoShop, which I learned how to use in 2005. I still have PhotoShop on my old PC, which no longer works, and in 2007 moved over…

Farm Fresh – Cover Reveal

So it has happened. Farm Fresh has a cover! It also has a home on Amazon, with pre-orders links and will soon be available in paperback. Let’s celebrate! Jude Garrity visits the farmers market every Saturday. As an environmental engineering student, he’s curious about living off the grid and sustainable agriculture. And one particular farmer. Hudson Oliva has worked hard to support his commune, where queer people live without fear of harm or retribution. When Jude asks pointed questions about living there, Hudson realizes he needs to be honest about his home. Few people know what the farm is actually about, but Jude is insistent. Jude moves to Kaleidoscope Gardens,…

Cover Reveal – Bent Arrow

I’ll be wrapping up this busy season by releasing my 3rd book this summer. Bent Arrow will be coming your way September 3rd. Here is the blurb and the cover! Sometimes curves in the road take you right where you belong. Luther Almond’s life working the Bakken oil field is perfect—short-lived jobs, temporary housing, and easy hookups. That’s one reason he won’t move home when he inherits the lake house. When Erik Heat bends over to fix Luther’s pipes, his tattoos hint he might be up for more than working on the drain. The last thing Luther expects is to want more from this guy than one night. Every time they’re…

Kissing – Sex Positivity Blog Hop

Let’s start this Sex Positivity Blog Hop post with a first kiss. He smiled at me with so much more intensity than usual and then leaned forward, capturing my lips with his. Warmth spread through my belly, and it wasn’t from the fire he’d built. It was from deep inside me. I was still somewhat unsure, but when his tongue drifted across my lower lip, I opened to him and dared to lick into his mouth. His lips were warm and soft and wet in the most wonderful way. It had been ages since I’d kissed someone like this, and it felt completely new. ~Release date: December 24, 2014 Love…

Flare Cover Reveal

In ten days, on January 13, 2014, Flare will be released. This is the third and final book in the North Star Trilogy, so if you’ve been waiting to read Spark and Fusion until Flare was out, now it your chance.  They will both be 20% off through January 4th at Dreamspinner Press too! Now, on to Flare.  Anne Cain created another lovely cover and fully portrayed exactly what I wanted for this story. I told her I wanted green right away when we first started talking about all three covers, and we decided that the golden spiral should be a recurring theme in all three covers, which it was.…
